Someone Like You. P 100-281

Halley is told about Scarlets pregnancy. They then tell Scarlett's mother and she tells Scarlett that she thinks that getting an abortion is a good idea. Scarlett goes to the appointment and then calls Halley to pick her up becuase she doesnt want to do it anymore. Halley calls Macon and he goes and gets the girls. While he is getting them Halley's mother sees them and assumes that they are skipping school. She gets mad and Halley has to tell her what is going on. She freaks out on Halley and tells her that she needs to be careful and her mother is extra causious about Macon. Macon and Halley continue to see eachother but she is sometimes confused by him and all his secrets. She finds it hard to read him and keeps saying no when he wants to have sex. She finally plans on doing it at a new years party but gets really drunk and throws up before anything can happen. Macon is taking her home and upset about how she acted. He is yelling at her when he isnt paying attention and wrecks the car. They have to go to the hospital. Halley's mother is upset she lied about what she was doing and says she cant see Macon. Macon doesnt come visit when halley is in the hospital and when he does come when she is out, she breaks up with him thinking he doesnt really care about her. Prom comes up and by then Macon is dating another girl. Halley runs into his new thing in the bathroom and she tells her that Macon is still in love with her and wants to be with her. They are interrupted by someone telling them that Scarlett is going to have her baby. They take Macons car to the hospital where everyone one comes to wait for Scarlets birth. Scarlet has a healthy baby girl and names her Grace Halley. Halley and everyone look and the baby and Halley walks home thinking about who Grace will be.
