Hero 101-200
Thom went to his try out to be on the League. He doesn’t really like any of the other super-heros in his section of try outs. There’s a snotty girl with a temper named Scarlett. There’s an old man who can spread diseases through contact named Larry. The only one he likes at all is an old woman named Ruth who can see the future. During his first round of try outs to be on the probationary squad, he messed up big, and he was afraid he wouldn’t make it. He didn’t think any of the members on the League like him. However, he made it past the first round. He goes to the gym to work out to get in shape for the League, and the boy that he healed at the basketball game earlier in the year, Goran, is there. They start playing one-on-one. They have a lot of fun, and they start playing every day. They become good friends, but one time, Goran said something about a girlfriend, and it made Thom really upset. He likes Goran, but he doesn’t want to admit it. For the League, Thom, Scarlett, Larry, and Ruth have to go on a superhero mission. They’re trying to stop some villains from tearing up the town, and Thom messes up. He doesn’t know how to control his powers, so he ends up not stopping the criminals. He’s getting heavily criticized by other members of the League, but Ruth stands up for him. His dad figures out that he’s dealing with superheroes, and he is beyond upset.

The Lost Mother 100-200
Thomas and Margaret are going to school now and it's nicer there since it's a lot warmer than it is in there tent. Henry knows they have to be out of the tent by the time winter comes around but he doesn't know where they are going to go or what they are going to do. It was miserable in the tent because it was starting to get very cold. Mrs. Farley invited the kids over to her house. Henry went over and took them from her and she started saying how she wanted to keep the kids with her. Henry said that they weren't going to seperate their family and he was keeping them with him no matter what. Mr. Farley kicked them off his land after that. Henry didn't know where they were going to go though, however. The children were with Gladys a lot too but old man Bibeau didn't like them around much. He always thought Henry should have married Gladys and when he didn't old man Bibeau was not very happy with him. They went to stay with their Aunt Leena for awhile, but she was having a hard time with the children. Thomas and Margaret were having a hard time finding a place they liked and could stay at though. Henry was also very particular about where he wanted them. He always wanted to make sure that they all stayed together.
