Darcy still can't believe that Rachel would do something like that to her. Since this is Darcy telling her side of the story, she talks about how she is attracted to Marcus. Darcy finds out that she is pregnant with Marcus's child. Darcy is thrilled about having the baby but on the other hand, Marcus is not ready to become a father. He tries talking Darcy out of having the baby, but she is sure she wants to have it. She believes that it brings her and Marcus closer together, and so he won't leave her. Darcy constantly asked Marcus about Dex and Rachel. She always wondered what they were up to, if they were still together and such. Later, while Darcy and Marcus are out shopping, they spot Rachel and Dex but there is no confrontation whatsoever. Rachel and Dex never even noticed Marcus and Darcy, and that made Darcy quite upset. That day it was also Darcy's birthday and she was wishing that Dex or Rachel would at least try to get a hold of her to tell her happy birthday. Darcy had her first pregnancy check-up and she found out that the due date was May 2, which is Dex's birthday. Darcy doesn't really know what to think of this whole situation other than she sort of misses her best friend.
