Something Borrowed pgs. 36-115

When Rachel calls Dex he basically tells her that he doesn't regret what he did, but that what happened can't ever happen again. She then realizes that she liked Dex first, and that it isn't completely fair that Darcy is engaged to him. The next day she goes swimsuit shopping with Darcy, and Darcy tells her that Marcus (Dex's friend) wants to ask her on a date. Rachel calls Dex to ask him about Marcus asking her on a date, and she starts to think that Dex might be her type. The next chapter is about Rachel's past relationships, and how she doesn't really think she has a type because of the variety of guys she's dated. She then goes on a date with Marcus, and they really hit it off. They decide they're not going to tell Dex and Darcy how it went because they know they're putting bets on the date. They then go out to a bar, and people start thinking Rachel and Marcus are together. Then they all take a trip to the Hamptons. It's some of Darcy's friends, Dex, Rachel, and Marcus. Marcus and Rachel keep hitting it off, but they're still not technically dating. Rachel leaves early for work. When the rest get back, Dex asks to meet Rachel at her house. He comes over, for what seems like to talk, but they end up getting more intimate again, and Rachel doesn't feel as guilty this time. The next day Rachel gets an e-mail from Dex basically telling her how he thinks she's amazing. Rachel goes wedding shopping with Darcy, and she gets really annoying, so Rachel calls up Dex to go over to her house. I think I'm beginning to see that Dex and Rachel's little fling might be serious, and end up breaking up a marriage.
