Whistling in the Dark 1-100

Sally O'Malley and her sister Troo have been living basically on their own. Their mother is in the hospital with cancer, and it will be awhile before she gets out, if she gets out. A short time before she was sent to the hospital she married a guy that goes by the name of Hall. Hall and Nell, the oldest sister, are suppose to be taking care of Sally and Troo. Hall is an alcoholic and Nell is to worried about her boyfriend Eddie. Sally has quite the imagination. She thinks that Officer Rasmussen is the one who molested and killed both of the two missing girls. She tells Troo about the night that he ran after her and tried to catch her, but Troo wouldn't believe her at all. Basically, Sally knows that she is the next one in line. She thinks Rasmussen is guilty, but Troo does not. They are not quite sure what or who to be on the lookout for, but they are always aware.
