Such a Pretty Girl 1-100

Meredith is not longer safe. She was promised nine years of safety, but only got three. Her father is a child molester and he was suppose to stay in jail until Meredith was eighteen, so she could take of herself. He got out early because of good behavior. From the day that he came home, she has given him the cold shoulder. She will never forgive him for what he did to her or to anybody else. Her mother, Sharon, just wants to pretend nothing ever happened, so she offers no protection to Meredith whatsoever. When Meredith's father starts calling her Chirp, which was his childhood nickname for her, she knows that he is not going to stop and that he is coming for her again. Meredith has a secret hideout, which is her friend Andy's house. He was also molested by her father, but that was when he left Sharon for Andy's mom. Sharon doesn't know that Andy is or was a victim of the whole situation. Andy is leaving for Iowa for four days to go to this religious place that they believe in. He's praying that it will help him, because he is paralyzed from the waist down and in a wheelchair. Meredith eventually makes her way over to her grandmother's house. Her grandma, Gran, and Sharon get into a huge fight about the whole situation. After Sharon marches out of the house, Gran tells Meredith that she is going to stay with her so she can guarantee her safety from her father. Meredith will never again be a victim of her father as long as she is under Gran's roof.
