The Perks of Being a Wallflower 1-100

Charlie has a hard time fitting in. He is just a freshman in high school and his best friend, Michael, committed suicide last May. After Charlies' English teacher, Bill, kept giving him books to read, they would have talks about his social life. Bill always encouraged Charlie to participate in social activities such as football games and dances. At a football game, Charlie met Sam and Patrick, who are step brother and step sister. Sam and Patrick, who are seniors, befriend Charlie and decide to take him to parties and hang out with their friends. Sam's and Patrick's friends are a bunch of individuals who all have a different story. They aren't total outcasts, but they something happened earlier in life that made them who they are. Charlie really likes Sam, but she always says how he is too young for her and how she has a boyfriend named Craig. Patrick has a relationship with the one of the most popular boys in school, Brad, who is also a football stud. Patrick doesn't care who knows about their secret relationship, but Brad on the other hand, doesn't want a single soul to find out about it. It's now Christmas break and Charlie just wants to be back home so he can be there when his friends return home from vacation. Charlie loves hanging out with Sam and Patrick. He has no idea what he'd do without them.
